Calculations

Calcelate is a static website. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. The values you enter, such as weight, income, dates or drinks, are never sent to us or to anyone else, and we have no way to see them.

Settings stored in your browser

Two preferences are saved in your browser's local storage so you do not have to set them again: your preferred units (metric or imperial) and, on pages with emergency numbers, the country you chose. They stay on your device, are not sent to us, and can be removed by clearing your browser's site data.

Country lookup

Pages that list emergency phone numbers ask a small endpoint on our host, Cloudflare, which country your connection appears to come from, so we can show the right numbers first. The response is a two-letter country code only. We do not log the request, store your IP address, or use the answer for anything except choosing which numbers to display. You can always override the country on the page.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and defend against abuse; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica to understand which calculators people use and where the site is hard to use. Google Analytics sets cookies and records page views and basic device and location data; see Google's privacy policy. Yandex Metrica sets cookies and records page views and a click map; session recording (Session Replay) is switched off. Values you type into calculator fields are never sent to us or attached to a name or an email address. Metrica is operated by Yandex; see Yandex's privacy policy. You can block it with any content blocker or by disabling JavaScript; every calculator still works.

Advertising

There is no advertising on Calcelate today. If we add advertising or affiliate links in future, this page will be updated first to explain exactly what changes, and any ad partner's data practices will be described here.

Links to other sites

Source links and emergency numbers point to external websites and phone services with their own policies. We link to them because they are the authoritative reference, not because we have any relationship with them.
